Took a job on pretenses of remote work, primarily so I can take care of my wife and deal with my own health problems. Recruiter stated multiple times that remote was a thing and HR could expedite before 90 days. Finish training, find 90% of what we were told is different (thanks Amazon), and basically told to screw off and that they weren’t going to accommodate. Recruiter passed incorrect information. Blatantly. I passed up a $17/hr job to be part of something that turned into just another call center.
I kinda agrees with above... I make 30$/hours being a waiter at restaurant in high-school. Not trying to be a douche, but maybe there is better jobs out there... my wife got a full work from home job at one of the small insurance company and she gets 25$/hours roughly... And believe me, my wife sucks at interview and took me about 10 months to teach her how to use macro VBA and sql Life only rewards those who work hard man, you need to learn more shit to live better life Ps: one of my friend who graduated with psychology major, self taught excel macro vba. Got a job as data analyst, self taught python, R. She will join FAANG next month as data scientist
Get s medical accommodation. They will have to let you work from home depending on your medical condition. Don’t bring up your wife as that won’t matter.
Ultimately, the hiring manager and recruiting manager is only as good as his weakest recruiter. This is not a recruiter problem this is an internal process problem. They hire people straight out of college to recruit, sounds like they need to be evaluating potential recruiters more thoroughly.
Jesus, what market are you in? I made $17/hr in high school.
Don’t be a douche
I'm not being a douche, I'm genuinely curious as to where OP is based. Obviously not our overpriced Seattle or San Francisco markets
