It's been a month now and I'm no where near getting a job offer. Just saw another connection post about their layoff and getting 100s of replies. Is it too late to post now?
Go ahead and post. Better late than never
But did any of those 100s of replies result in a job?
Just post it and then have a sob story about taking the month to reflect. Works every time for the suckers on LinkedIn.
You need to cry about it this guy at Amazon did it got a job at Amazon cloud next day while his whole team is still looking
Stockholm syndrome
There was also a âshaking and cryingâ post that become a huge meme later
Post now, why not? If youâre concerned about the delay, add that you took a month off to consider your future career path and brush up on your interview skills. Recruiters like working with people who are properly prepared.
Itâs late .. that other person already got 20 offers by posting on LinkedIn
Do not be concerned with how many likes or comments someone else receives on social media. Unfortunately, LinkedIn has turned into this and seeing 100,000 likes and 500 comments when Lex Fridman postâs a one liner, proves my theory that it is becoming another black hole of useless info.
This! Already started seeing DIY videos and âLike this for good luckâ posts on there
Not too late. Go ahead and post. Chances of getting a good lead out of it are slim, but hey, so is applying to some random job but people still do it. Put as many lines as you can in the water. Do be prepared to be inundated with messages though. Mostly multi-level marketing folks. Youâll get more âhave you ever thought about being your own boss?â messages than you ever thought possible but all you need is one or two good leads to make it worth it. Best of luck.
I may have an opportunity for you, depending on what type of role you're looking for. Feel free to DM me.
No post it now. Itâs never too late
đđđ ive seen people post multiple times after a layoff every couple of weeks if still looking.
Yea post now and say that you were laid off last month.
