Blend Interview

I’m non technical, but comp is competitive and stock is in a good spot right now (and will continue to be). At your TC it’ll be worth it I think. If you’re SWE, there’s room to grow and cool products coming up (same with product obvs). How cool your day to day is greatly depends on what team/product you’re on. There are a few duds. Other fintechs that will also be worth the TC are Ripple, Robinhood, and Square. Cast a wide net if you’re looking. (Oh also, Plaid still has a few roles open if you can squeeze in before Visa acquisition is solidified, you get 6 months acceleration and mad stock.)

I interviewed for Blend for Software Engineer position. The manager said they were looking for a level slightly greater than new grad and I had one year of Full Time experience. Phone interview - One LC Medium and Scalable System design. On site - Scalable system design (one round), REST-API design challenge (one round) about 30 mins of requirement gathering, one hour of coding and one hour of demo and discussion combined, Coding (one round) LC Hard.
