My team is quite nice and people smart and talented. But problem is fear driven culture from the top. You don't seem to mind working 12+ hours a day and love it there. All the better for you! But for many, like me, 12+ hours a day in order to reach KPIs to not get fired is too much.

Can you elaborate?

One of their recruiters reached out and scheduled a meeting. They were kind of dicks about scheduling (they’re in London and I’m on the US West Coast) and sent the meeting invite after the interview was supposed to start. They only included a UK number and I had issues with the meeting URL so I incurred a nice little phone fee there. They then asked me an asinine “brain teaser” type question (completely out of the blue) at the very end. They “declined my application” with a generic email wishing me the best on my search. I have 15 YoE+, did not seek these fools out, and perfectly fine at Amazon. No one died but left a bad taste in my mouth.
