I’ve been going to a dentist in downtown (Bede, Branch, Carmody). Last time I asked about how things get cleaned in between patients (I just never wondered about it before). I sensed resistance from the hygienist, like I was distrusting them. Also, Dr. Bede didn’t wear a mask that same day. This whole thing, plus some similar dirt I found in Yelp in the “non-recommended” (and hidden!) reviews, is motivating me to make a change. So, does your dentist open a box of sealed instruments when starting the session? Do they randomly change your hygienist like the trust relationship didn’t matter? Can you recommend me a good dentist?
Never show up again! Unless you want hiv. I could understand them maybe being insulted that anyone would ask such a question. Any halfway decent dentist will auto clave. But it's happened.
Anyone with a dentist opening a sealed pack of instruments?
No. It's considered tacky. And often they don't autoclave complete packs like that
My dentist/dental hygienist always wears a mask
Wouldn't trust a guy whose first name is Brewster
Brewster is in the internet hall of fame, he's our Lord and savior
