Seattle to SFBay move
Anybody (Sr Mgr or Director) move from Seattle to the Bay Area? How was your experience like? What sort of compensation adjustment did you have to make to make equivalent or better?

Not a manager, but I've got ~50% bump in TC. However will see what's left there after taxes :(

Your costs become 1.5x, your salary becomes 1.5x-2x depending on the outcome. If savings rate is the same, you are saving more in total amount.
