Assuming you work remote and can live in either. Same pay. You can only pick one. Been stumped on this one for a while. Hikes through forest vs strolls through the city/boardwalk Mountains vs Beaches Liberal hobo culture vs ghetto culture Very dark/wet vs very hot Hurricanes vs fires ‘Big earthquake/volcano’ vs ‘entire state submerging’ Corporate drones vs spring breakers Easy/cheap Asia/Alaska/Hawaii access vs easy/cheap USA/Europe/Latin America access Prolly missing a bunch, but just few to get you thinking. Feel free to add comments why you’d pick one over the other. TC: 260
Neither..
I’ve heard good things about Seattle and only bad things about Miami.
Is this even a question. Obviously Miami is better
Why so ?
I lived in more than 4 states and WA is the worst so far. It’s been 6 months and almost every month there is a power outage. And it lasts for days
That’s odd where did you live
Where do you live?
Miami kinda sucks to live in. Amazing to visit but I don’t think I’d ever move there. Grew up and spent 20+ yrs in SoFlo, went to UM. I don’t think I’d ever move back to FL but if I did it would def not be Miami.
If you like nightlife Miami is much better. People are better looking too
hmm, I don't think people are looking better. People in bay area look better thar Floridians imo. Not sure about Seattle though. For example, I live in Mountain View now. And everyday I see a lot of super fit dudes/girls doing morning runs or biking. Hard to find fat people here. In South Florida I saw only fat runners on streets lol. And a lot more overweight people (less than in Texas though). Understandable, if it so hot and humid outside, you probably will spend more time at home eating pizza. I not speaking about Miami Beach, 90% of people there are tourists. And you don't want to live on Miami Beach
I was speaking of the Latin population…but yes of course what is better looking is in the eye of the beholder
Where u make friends
If you can afford California coast coz seattle is boring and miami is fun but will be under water
I’ve lived in Seattle my whole life. Boring asf here unless you drive a Subaru and enjoy hiking every weekend. You can probably hit every good thing to do in the city within a month of being here lol
^ pretty much… moved here late 2021, moving out in Jan 2024… main reason is weather, just can’t take anymore gloominess
grass always greener on the other side.. i used to live in both cities, and neither is perfect. would be awesome if i can take the only best part of them.
