If you want to invest long term in crypto you should really convert that money into fiat dollar bills, crumple the bills into little balls, then flush them down a toilet.

Not your keys, not your crypto. Always transfer off the exchange to your own wallet if not actively trading.
Do you prefer or use any specific app to make investments in the exchanges?
I personally use BinanceUS. Lower fees than Coinbase. No complaints.
