I am new to cyber security field. To get the taste of this domain, I cleared CEH master and also became an associate of ISC2, clearing CISSP (not having work-ex though). I have a couple of years of work-ex in software development. My plan is to apply for security Engineer at companies like FB and Amazon. What should I expect the interview to be like? Would I be asked coding questions? Or security constructs? #cybersecurity #interview
Google cyber security top interview questions and be able to do LC easy and medium. Also depends what type of role. Analyst or engineering.
Google it's more like advance Linux and Network and LC, not a lot of web or app security in my experience
And OFC Googliness :)
At Amazon specifically you can expect a big chunk of your interviews to be focused on Amazon’s Leadership Principles (see examples of questions here - https://www.dayone.careers/blog/amazon-interview-questions-vetted-by-day-one-careers). I’m sure Blinders will also weigh in on the tech side of the process. Good luck.
For application security, my first interview was a young security engineer asking questions like what is a certificate Didn't make it to the next round for some reason but didn't get any leadership q
What do you mean by “blinders”?
