May I know if anyone works at Security Engineering at Amazon? Looking for information on interview process.
Recruiter isn't sharing much information except high level
Any help is appreciated
Phone screen followed with on-site loop. Depending on team you may or may not get coding. Brush up on your LPs and have 2-3 examples for each. Come prepared.
Just accepted a pro serv offer; so not the same team. Take advantage of all the prep resources your recruiter will give to you; we had prep calls that was offered with the same info multiple times a week to help people be successful. There might be white boarding homework. The difference between getting your L5 vs. L6 could be how much experience and confidence you have leading something by yourself which is obviously heavy AWS stack focus. Attending their AWS training days online in prep early before your technical rounds are good essentials. If you don't have any of those details; ask your recruiter and see if there's any of those types of prep calls. I personally joined almost every call and listened even though it was the same info; not for the general knowledge each time but for any good questions candidates were asking to prepare. You'll get incremental details and insights that may help you. Best of luck man.
@op how was your interview?
Pretty large team. Too much churn in managers and leadership recently with lots of nepotism favouring people from Uber.
