2023 security version of FAANG based on base salary#cybersecurity #security OpenAI Snowflake Grammarly Remitly Rubrik
No Abnormal Security?
Look at where they’re staffed/built. 🥜
Isnt FAANGM security FAANGM?
Accurate.
What is the M?
Grammarly ? Seriously ? The kind of companies you have listed here make no sense. If anything, the list should start with CrowdStrike.
When I think Security version of FAANG, I am thinking about where security professionals get paid the most...and Crowdstrike is not on that list.
When I think security version of FAANG, I am thinking of ACTUAL security companies. Grammarly makes no sense. Rubrik is the only actual security company of the ones OP listed IMO.
How is openAI a security company?
OP once heard that the best way to get answers on the internet isn't by asking the question, but by suggesting the wrong answer.
Best side channel vulnerability
One of the easiest ways to get Reddit's karma is by submitting a Python snippet and asking how it makes it the most pythonic.
Might want to revise that list just little bit... https://companiesmarketcap.com/it-security/largest-companies-by-market-cap/ I know market cap doesn't equal base salary, but it's a MUCH better starting point than the list you have
lol but Ironnet is on that list…
What is the use of getting paper money at Grammarly if the company is never going to be public? AI will kill its market if not already. Current market looks difficult for companies to go public, better to stay with already ipo'd ones or something like OpenAI
