Seeking financial advice on vested amazon stonks
I have $600k worth of vested amazon stock in my Morgan Stanley account. What could be a good investment with this? real estate or diversify via etf/index funds? I have ~150k cash savings as emergency fund. L6 sdm, seattle single income/2 kids/own home YOE 15+, 8 years at amazon NW - 1.5M

My suggestion is only sell once Amazon crosses $150 unless you need the money. Once you sell just put it in index funds. Also make sure you put your cash in CDs or hysa while interest rate is high.
Is $150 a magic number. Why not $200?
Never sell Amazon keep it, only sell what you really need.

In a similar boat and at this point I have changed all future vesting to sell all on vest (plan to move to ETFs with the vested post tax amount). I think you don't want almost 50% NW in just one stock. I'd personally think you should sell at least some percentage and put somewhere else. AMZN is not record high, but also not at all time low. Let me know what you think.
