We use comcast business for upto 100Mb plan. Internet connection is okay for doing the work. However its keeps getting disconnected for Zoom especially when video is on. Experiencing this issue especially this week. Also same issue when I connect to Zoom from phone via Verizon LTE. Not sure if it will be easy to change internet provider at home given the circumstances and given that I cannot afford to have a timeframe disconnected completely, please suggest some options/ideas.
Use Zoom audio only, turn off your mic when not talking. Good internet is a game changer for having effective remote meetings though. Go for the upgrade to 1Gb
I have Comcast 25/3, the lowest tier. Huge file downloads are obviously slow, but it works flawlessly for video calling - I have used blue jeans, FaceTime, and google hangouts. Youtube 4K streams with no buffering as well. The trick is I am a one person household and I have a great modem, router, and cabling. Frequent disconnections might be solved by replacing the router. ASUS has been solid in my experience.
