I have been thinking about this from quite some time now. I am about 33 years old and make about 300k an year. I have decent savings and investments of about 600k. I am now thinking of taking it a step further buy working with a good firm which can charge me a fee but at the same time help me grow my portfolio more safely. Companies i am considering: Vanguard Charles Schwab Betterment Empower Facet Zoe Financial Harness Wealth Has anyone tried exploring this route? Is it worth it? #personalfinance #investments
imagine wanting to pay someone a fee. start with me. start paying me a fee
Don’t, unless you are a high net worth individual (think tens of millions of investable capital) then you aren’t getting access to the instruments and investments that make a difference. I have a few friends all with wealth management companies and their performance is pretty anemic, after the fees they aren’t doing any better than if they had just dumped it all into an index fund. VOO, VTI, VGT and forget it.
Pay me .05% fee and I’ll manage your entire portfolio. I can guarantee 10% average returns over a long period of time. Here’s the investment strategy that I’ll be implementing for you. Its a very sophisticated strategy which consists of 500 companies that are evaluated regularly. You can either pay me that fee or I’m also generous to share the strategy with you for free, its called S&P500 and you can buy an ETF of tracks it. Just do a recurring investment into that ETF and you’ll be in green with an average return of 10%. Good luck!
Thank you! 🙏
I recommend an independent fiduciary.
Institutional investment with the aid of an investment advisor is great source of passive income. It's rear but profitable in a long run. I love that feeling when i earn 3%-5% of my investment on a monthly basis.
No - just DCA into S&P 500. Monkeys have better chance of being right picking stocks than hedge fund.
