I have tried for Goldman twice. Coding round cleared and then coderpad round rejected twice. In coderpad they want me to solve two problems and then optimize them. I solved one each time and optimized it. Yet rejected. So, I would like to know what is their criteria and all the rounds. TC: 13 YOE: 5 #tech
The expectation is you solve both the questions in that 1 hr
Thanks, do you know how many rounds in total they conduct?
Key is, focus on getting both done with all test cases. Even if you don't optimize, they don't have a reason to eliminate, atleast for coderpad :) Thisll be followed by 4-5 tech F2F rounds, usually over a single day if done onsite.
Hmm, in my case there were no testcases, I had to write positive and negative myself. But I get the gist. Thanks
Well I solved both the question in 1 hr. For the 2nd question just an edge case was failed... Still Rejected. Pure waste of time. Plus the interviewer himself was not clear why it was failing, asking me to debug and solve in that hour itself...No idea what is the expectation. (AWM team)

[OFFTOPIC] 13 TC for 5 YoE? They gave 12 TC to New grads at my uni
They do and I am aware of it. Classic problem of TC or GTFO people just ignore the actual question and focus on last 2 sentences :)
