Question about women in their 30’s?
bad predicament. The company you work for is cut throat
Define cut throat ?
Yeah, it depends. The real estate in cyclical markets (== currently expensive markets) is asset, not place to live. So your question is pretty much equal to should you sell leveraged stock fund while the prices are still high.
Depends on how much is ur house, monthly payments and where it is. If it’s more than 2 million better sell it off . Again only houses in good schools r going now
Why did you buy a house on h1b in the first place?
American dream, I guess
@wayfair how else is the county going to get it’s funding ? For its schools libraries social events etc.. if h1bs make the most bread but don’t feed the community
It depends on how much savings you have, your level of optimism in the future and also on what can you get for your house. My advice would be to consult realtor, and maybe put house on market. If you don’t like offers you receive - you don’t have to do anything and even don’t have to pay realtors.
I wouldn’t expect the house to sell very quickly.
Who is buying right now? You can’t even show houses...
A lot of folks...
House is not a shot term thing. Things happen. Hope you have 3 months of cash to survive any emergency.
Stay put.
It depends on a lot. How much mortgage do you have, how much savings, how much is your monthly payment, your TC and so on.
