Screw it. Don't care anymore. Let Israel take it. One state solution.
Can anyone share some experience having consultant job during full time employment? My company has policy that I should be solely working for the company, but i am wondering if there is any room that I can take second job opportunity. It is biotech. Thank you.
I worked full-time as a marketing manager for a biotech and did consulting work on the side for non-competing business. I just had an upfront conversation with my boss about the client and hours, made sure all my consulting calls were done after work hours or during lunch, and it was never an issue. Just be sure to be upfront with both your boss and your consulting clients on expectations.
It's reasonable to sign an nda, and non-compete for the same industry. Your contract should contain language that states non-compete is only applicable for similar industry and competitors. Anything else, I'd tell them they're ball tuggers.
