Another useful rubric for Amazon :
Thanks!
Behavioral is the easiest part. All you need to do is showcase impactful work. Have at least one big project in mind where you worked with other teams/stakeholders and ideally led from start to finish, architecture, delegating work, etc.. (You can always exaggerate here). The other thing is showcasing mentoring and helping Jr teammates and bringing process improvements to the team. Come up with the stories ahead of time. I use Amazon LP example questions which can be found all over online. Write them down and recite them to yourself.
Once you feel you've prepped enough, do a mock interview on one of the paid coaching sites (prepfully, exponent, itnerview io etc). Pick a manager level coach (eg. EM) to make sure you get feedback that actualyl comes from experience rather than theory. Costs 100-200 bucks and is worth its weight in gold.
This is great advice. I did one with a Sr. Manager at a company I was targeting. He gave comprehensive feedback on the process and how to improve stories to prevent a down-level. Very useful
