What type of questions can one expect? Any tips on how to prepare?

Mostly from resume projects. Apart from that, I have been asked about CAP, complex hive queries, replication strategies, consistent hashing, data formats, Map Reduce Secondary Sort implementation etc.

^^ Yes, they’ve read your resume, and will pick people in the company with a similar background to interview you.
