For a Senior TPM in the Midwest, at 110k/ year, in retail IT, ~3% annual hike, no sign on bonus, no annual bonus. Around 10 years of work experience in enterprise IT. Is it too low? How should I negotiate during my upcoming performance review?
Look at your cost of living, you might see bigger numbers thrown around here but it doesn't go nearly as far
110k there is ~500k Bay Area
Yes, it is pretty good considering the cost of living, however, growth opportunities are at a minimum. Technologies are old, no room for upwards movement, high outsource ratio, and slow pace of life in general.
Sounds pretty standard for Meijer or Amway (for example) from what I've heard. I don't think you will see much more at traditional companies in West Michigan. You'd need to sign up for a consulting gig with a large Microsoft partner or big shop like Accenture to see a big bump in comp. You can always look at Glassdoor to see what you can find for comparisons sake.
Depends where in the Midwest. Chicago is much different then Detroit or omaha.
West Michigan
Sounds decent considering west Michigan doesn't have much in terms of major cities if you aren't close to Chicago on Detroit / Ann harbor.
