I would say vaccines are "old science," but some of them work. It's as ridiculous to ignore risk factors for anything that's not risk-free. Funny how every medication has a long list of side effects which you're supposed to ask a doctor about, but not for vaccines? Government should get out of the way.
Generally the people who don't get measles vaccines Will get free hospital care at taxpayers expense when they wind up in the hospital. I've seen both Democrats and Republicans but slightly more Republicans who don't get measles shot.

Bug chasers are about receiving, not giving. It’s kind of obvious from the name.
HIV is the only communicable disease with these criminal penalties (felony in many states) that apply to failing to disclose. It’s about equal protection under the law and removing the stigma that HIV+ people are pariahs. Treat HIV no different than the penalties (misdemeanor) for other communicable diseases. This law encourages people to not get tested. It is bad public policy from a public health standpoint. Don’t have unprotected sex or get on PrEP, problem solved.

No it isn’t. One could engage in safe sex and undetectable is untransmittable. Just like having HPV and not telling isn’t intentional transmission. The ask is to treat HIV no different than other communicable diseases. It’s unjust that HIV has worse penalties that Ebola, for example.
