got an offer from ServiceNow for Software Engineer position (IC2) Location- Santa Clara Want to get insights on how fair the offer is Base: 150k RSU: 90k/4 Sign on bonus: 0 Current TC: 130k YoE: 1 PS: Not at Meta currently #tech #servicenow #offer
Contractor thinking meta is their company lol
Is there a difference with the work they do vs full time?
yes there is. Core product / Algo team usually don’t allow contractor hires.
Want to evaluate how fair the offer is. Equity look a little low Can negotiation be done on base/stocks as no sign on/joining bonus?
Base is pretty good for ic2. You can try to negotiate equity but that seems standard for your level and doubtful they will budge.
What should be good range to negotiate for equity?
For 1 yoe not bad by any means.
I am working on ServiceNow tool as a developer, I have a .net dev background Can I get into ServiceNow as experience working on ServiceNow ?
I would think yes definitely those skills would be desirable since many people working at SN are just building apps on top of the platform.
Got it, thanks! If you know any specific positions I be looking for let me know please
Quite good in this market for your YOE

Looks like 50% bump for you. Sounds fair.
