Have an interview loop lined up, can someone share how their phone screen and on site looks like? Is it full LC style? Easy, medium or hard? Recruiter giving only vague and generic answers. Applied for general backend developer position, but recruiter lined me up for Staff level for whatever reason TC: 75k YoE: 7
Staff level = IC4 for servicenow comp band, possibly why the recruiter did this. Not an engineer on the product side (cyber security) so don’t have insight for you on your interviews
Lc med for phone screen. Possible they'll have you fix buggy code instead of LC. On-site will probably be a combination of technical questions (Java, REST, multithreading, your experience), some system design type questions, and some coding questions. Nothing too hard. Probably all med level questions, maybe leaning harder
Even the hiring manager asked me coding questions and some fron my resume experience. The position I originally applied had headcount ... so they asked me to apply another position. This whole interview is long.... but it was good interview experience.
Just had a phone screen today, it was two LC easy-ish in 45 minutes. Not too bad at all.
