ServiceNow to Nordstrom ??
I am in a dilemma whether to switch from ServiceNow (San Diego) to Nordstrom (Seattle), there is a 35k difference in base pay - same level 1, worried about job security at Nordstrom? Any insights? #offer #layoffs #switch #compensation #job #software #engineering #swe

Not sure about your level but no stock till principal level. 1. Their stock performance is pathetic 2. Uncertainty with growing covid concerns 3. I would say 80% of the team works on really old tech

Several people were laid off from there a few months back (SWE)
How about tell us how much is the "huge difference"?
Itβs about 30-35k difference in base pay
Not worth it. San Diego is a must better city to live in than Seattle.
