Is it US or India? She should gather evidence, reach out to a lawyer before contacting HR. Then contact HR with lawyers recommendations and record all evidence. Most probably HR won't help but the fact that you reached out will create accountability in the court. You'd have to file a police complaint against that person and might have to go to court. I don't see it as a harm on potential employment but if JPMC doesn't do anything, you can also sue them for a couple million bucks.
