Please like on this post and comment. Let's share the deadly news to worldwide population. Doordash is engaging in dirty practices of silently laying off employees every other day. They have laid off people in batches since mid year performance reviews. Apparently 10% of their employees were forced into a bottom bucket after mid year performance reviews and HRBP has engaged in firing practices and is terminating employees all while staying below the numbers that trigger WARN act. Extremely shameful act by Doordash. Yikes.
Why don’t the rest of the staff at DoorDash simply leave a 15-20% tip to keep their colleagues employed?
Fun fact you have to tip your manager or they wont prioritize your meetings
I like the "prioritize" keyword. The higher you tip, the higher the chance you will get prioritization but not all the time, you have to compete with others that tip as well. Sounds like a good business model, let's apply that to the product!
The entire business concept relies on cheating restaurants and delivery drivers. You didn't think they would cheat employees?
Intuit did the same. Lot of companies are doing it. Suckers!
Is Intuit doing it quarterly?
Every day!
Their software is garbage and no one wants inflated food prices and inflated service fees and inflated tipping
This is the reason behind this dirty prescribe? What’s your point?
Intuit doing quarterly
Direct termination or fake pip?
Fake pip and in some cases direct termination as well
Don’t k ow where you get your news 🤷♂️
In fact been interviewing lately for quite a few openings
Yes hire and fire at the same time
Yes secretly terminating employees has been happening a lot. No pip but direct firing. No job security at all. Avoid joining.
Why though? What's the motivation?
Money
Disgusting practices
>Apparently 10% of their employees were forced into a bottom bucket after mid year performance reviews Were these lower performers or random?
Expedia is watching from the corner
What do you mean? Is Expedia doing performance related firing with a fixed quota?
Expedia is not doing perf related. However, they laid off several people across different organizations in the USA and Canada to avoid WARN. They hiring heavily in India
