Shopify Fall Internship - No offer but asked for references?

Hi, I completed my life story interview and two pair programming interviews for interviews last almost two weeks ago. Honestly did very average and was thrown off in my first interview because I compiler wasn't working. Did not hear anything back. I just followed up with my recruiter yesterday, and she replied saying to be patient as they are still collecting feedback, and what they had collected so far has been positive. She asked if I had any impending deadlines and gave a heads up to gather references (got an email for it immediately after). I've seen posts where verbal offers have been given a day or two after the interview. I've also seen posts saying that references are collected after verbal offers and team matching. TLDR: I have not received verbal offer, but recruiter followed up saying she's gotten positive feedback so far and asking for references. How likely am I to get an offer? and what is going on with the delay? YOE: <1 (intern) Current TC: $61/hr #shopify
