Shopify Product Designer
Does anyone work at Shopify Design? I’m talking with them and it seems legit so far but have no idea what it’s actually like.

I’d suggest having a competing offer for leverage. They are not known for their pay.

It depends what team you’re in, otherwise UX as a whole is solid. Lots of solid designers. The company as a whole though can be better. Very top down with prescriptive solutions and I think the product team is weak and not opinionated enough, comp is not competitive and remote culture can be better. If you want to grow as a designer, I don’t recommend Shopify as there’s many reorgs and you’re probably going to switch managers a few times.
My former boss now works there as a UX manager. He was the best design manager I’ve ever had. He likes it there so far.
