Hey Blind Community! Is there anyone from Shopify who would be willing to put in a referral on my behalf for a Product Management role. I'm really eager to break into PM. I have almost 2 years of experience as a software developer. In that time, I've been taking on opportunities to manage my team's products with limited scope — but I'd like to do that full-time and continue to grow my PM skills. I'd really appreciate it if any of you from Shopify could put in a referral for me. I'm open to chatting if you'd like to learn more about me! Thanks :)

PM is irrelevant role and will die in next 2-3 years.
With no formal PM experience, and overall short experience building products, your chances of getting a PM role at Shopify are slim to none. Even with a referral. What you can do though is to apply to the Shopify APM program — https://apm.shopify.com
Thanks for letting me know about that program! Are referrals 'effective' for the APM program though?
Hey caperst. I’m shooting a shot here, but I’m a Project Manager with 3 YoE in the supply chain/distribution industry and completing MBA in a year. Would you be open to referring a Shopify Product Manager?
