Finished my onsite felt really good. Loved the job potential and benefits but worried about facebooks future due to recent events. Should I be worried?

Modi is a legend, will be remembered for centuries to come
Yes. They might be going through a nightmare PR cycle like Uber did over the past two years. It is hard to predict. But it was not fun to work at Uber during that time. And it isn’t Facebook’s fault. But their scandal is at the intersection of Russia, Trump and other issues that will be in the news for at least another year.

Did you get an offer? How did you prepare for the interview?
No and welcome!
Great time to join, pick up stock at a discount
You can just buy the stock and not put both your job and finances at risk from the same organization...
You probably can't buy $300-500k of Facebook stock. But you can get a lot in unvested stock if you join
Facebook and the brand is tarnished. So, it depends on what you are going there for. There are few companies that have such a public outcry to delete their main app as Facebook has had recently.
Dropbox had one a few years ago. They're doing fine.
Comparing Dropbox to Facebook is hardly the same. Let me know the next time people’s lives are catalogued on Dropbox.
I wish I join at this time instead. Can we switch? Lol
Join asap so you get the sweet discount RSU.
Terrible advice. Why not buy stocks yourself instead of joining just for RSUs
Buying stocks means investing money which could potentially be invested elsewhere. RSUs are free, there is a distinct difference.
Yes
I heard Amazon one of worst place to work in America
