I'm 23 years old no gf and 240k in investment. 150k in Bitcoin and the rest in stock. Should I save for a rental property or buy a red electric car with black rims.#personalfinance #investments Please tell me if I should I splurge or not. TC 170k
The person above is correct but you'll also be 27-28 by then. Buy it man, enjoy your young years. You're in tech, nothing is guaranteed, but you should be fine (unless you're trying to retire early, then just keep saving and investing).
But by then I can buy a cyber truck instead not cheapo model y
You can trade in. Tesla car has high resale value, so you won’t lose much.
Tesla is overrated. Get yourself a new bimmer
But my parents drive bmw and gasoline cars are for boomers
Now I know why you don’t have a gf yet 😏
You have saved a lot of money for a 23 year old 👏 I am curious, what kind of investment do you have 240k in?
150k in Bitcoin. 90k in tech stocks
150k in bitcoin out of 240 networth is not investment it is a gamble.
As a matter of fact Bitcoin has been the best performing asset over the past 5 years. At my age I don't really care if I lose it all and I've lost plenty.
Then you admit it is a gamble but you are winning so far.
Having >50% of your investment portfolio in bitcoin is nuts...very poor risk management no matter what you think of the future for it (it's an investment that could literally go to zero in a year)
May be he knows he'll make more than that in the next few years, and will invest that in other instruments.
Whatever u do, don’t stop trolling. 😈
Still trying to rent a place and not pay rent?
@wd, context please
Seems like you are already risking heavily with your BC investment. Sure, why the hell not? Or, you can invest in becoming fit, eating healthy, in a diversified portfolio, working on your personality to finally get a gf (or Bf if things change) but that’s probably too hard than buying a TESLA.
I would buy it because you’d probably keep it for 10 years so might as well start it now and keep it for free the rest of your 30s. Would suggest financing it with 4% or lower and put the rest of the cash into investments.
This OP is clearly trolling. People giving good advice and OP replies with “ok but let me do this instead”
But just like the comment section I'm very conflicted 😂
