Should I consider Bolt??
I currently have offers from 1. Oracle (415k tc) 2. Adobe (350k tc) 3. Smartsheet - Yet to tell me the final numbers 4. Bolt - don’t know the numbers yet 5. 2 other startups Tagg and Divebell Should I be joining bolt?? I see the recent Series D funding Any idea when will it go IPO? Currently at salesforce TC 300k 10 YOE.
Curious, what level at Oracle? IC4 or IC5?
What level at bolt? If staff then it’s very good .. I think they have good potential
I mean it's your decision at the end of the day. If you have some specific questions, you can ask here. There are a couple of engineers from bolt who are pretty transparent
If you’re coming in at a similar level, I’d vote Bolt. No idea on IPO timeline tbh.

You will get options to exercise stock. It costs money to exercise. Ask the recruiter FMV. That's the exercise cost, and it's a valuation determined by auditors. The stock might appreciate over time. Ask the recruiter preferred price. That's how much money investors pay for the stock. It's a valuation that accounts for potential growth. After IPO, you can sell your stock on the open market. The difference between what you sell stock at and the exercise price is your spread. You'll owe taxes on that.
