Should I consider myself through EB1A?

I have been working at MS for 3+ years now in ISG research. For the asset class I lead the coverage of, MS has been consistently ranked in the first two spots over the last two years in the renowned Institutional Investor survey. Have published ton of researches with my name as the first author. Moderated a panel at the asset class’ world renowned conference and have had a media mention in one of the Bloomberg articles for 2024 outlook call. My manager is an excellent guy and would vouch or write anything for me in terms of recommendations. Am up for VP promotion this Jan. Should I consider self petitioning for EB1A for GC? If yes, could you please recommend the immigration firm that is an expert in handling such cases? Thank you TC: 275k Work Experience: 4 years #workvisa #h1b #rfe

Depends on how much you have published and where. Just your manager's recommendation won't cut it either.

Are they public? Have they undergone any sort of peer review?

Depends how' was your work adopted in US or worldwide. N eed to show worldwide impact. Good recommendations from global researchers (not only US). Managers recommendations is nice to have but doesn't buy you much. Need more independent recos.

Got it USCIS doesn’t mention about this worldwide impact thing in that list of 10 attributes tho - I suppose you just need to show how good you are at in your field?

Every one is a VP in bank. Low Tc. Hard to justify

If you have manager support, try to get your company file EB1-B . EB1-B is easier compared to EB1-A as you have to show only 2 criteria instead of 3. Either way, you need strong recommendation letters from people whom you don’t know directly and also from across the world to show international recognition.

It depends on how many citations your publications have on Google scholar. 300+ citations is usually considered a ball park for EB1

300 by no means is a safe bound. The letter of support needs to be super strong for it.

300 as first author ?
