nope. asked to do very little coding. like implement a small core function. no DS involved
Depends on the team & location. My team does scratch the surface of system design. As a rule of thumb, ask your recruiter and they’ll tell you what to expect. Uber is hundreds of teams, many asking different things. Blind is not a good forum to get a good response to this.
Hi tapp, if you wouldn’t mind me asking, I’m not sure which team you belong to, but I am interested in Data engineering roles at Uber and would like to understand what skills they would look for. My DS and Algo skills are minimum and haven’t had to use them a lot in my career. So wondering if that is a requirement
