Have shoulder impingement based off of self eval from YouTube doctors and PT channels. I have a high deductible PPO plan and need to meet $1800 deductible before insurance kicks in. If I pay out of pocket for MRI and PT sessions pretty sure it’ll be at least $1800. I could also just watch YouTube videos from PTs and do them at home and gym. I also don’t want to reimburse myself with my HSA since it’s making good gains investing in index funds. I went to PT for 4 months before for lower back disc bulge and felt like I could have just done the exercises at home on my own. When I went to see my primary care doctor for my annual physical he just gave me a quick physical arm strength test and said I should be fine and let him know if the shoulder pain persists in a couple weeks. What should I do? Tc 200k
Just incorporate face pulls into your workout and see if that fixes the issue.
Get your shoulder decompressed if that's what's really going on. I've had both of mine decompressed, one of them twice I think.
How do you get your shoulders decompressed?
Orthopedic surgeon goes in with a scope, grinds your acromion bone to make room for your (usually) supraspinatus rotator cuff tendon. If the tendon is frayed they would clean that up, too. Some people's skeletons just don't have a lot of room for the rotator cuff to move, and sometimes we develop bone spurs that impinge on the tendons even worse.

Peaceful Protest Hasn’t Worked and Has Been Met With Aggression.
Keep thinking of money that you will not need in case you die ultimately. Go first to the doctor, life is important than maintaining deductible
I already brought the issue up with my PCP during my covered annual physical and he said it doesn’t seem to be a major issue based off of the arm strength test that he performed. He just told me to come back if it doesn’t go away in a couple weeks.
