1) Has an offer from Yahoo finance. And has an interview scheduled with the mail team. Seems Yahoo mail has 25m+ active user Both teams offer around the same TC: - 185k base + 18k joining + 110k cash bonus vesting over 4y. - totally remote 2) has an offer from Walmart internal: - One position down than Yahoo - 165 base + 15k joining + upto 25k stocks each year (vesting over 4y) - work hybrid (CA) Should I consider Yahoo or Walmart internal, given the future of Yahoo sounds unstable? #hr #layoff #jobfit

Yahoo is privately owned. We get cash instead of equity.
Private companies give out equity too. Sort of sucks it's just a low flat cash bonus over four years.
There is probably a decent number of older people using yahoo mail but I wouldnt go there

For Yahoo remote, did they ask your location and use that to adjust the TC?

Anecdotal but nobody I know uses yahoo mail but several use yahoo finance.
