E6 been here more than 2 years. Always MA. With refresh, TC 700k. Cliff in 2 years. G reached out for team match as I already passed the HC before the layoff but I’m not really sure that I should go due to TC. My current team is not bad but feel disconnected with people as each engineer works on different projects.
Hard to say without knowing the numbers
DM for referral, I will give you a nice support
Hi, can you refer me to Google?
G can't match $700k. Stay with Meta until the cliff
Agree, unless OP really hates their job best to stay until the cliff. In 2 years the market is hopefully better as well
I will need to interview again. Don’t want to spend time preparing again.
Probably lucky to hit $500k front loaded.
Go if G gives you L7
Yoe?
Follow
TC will definitely drop, but maybe not too much since the recruiter knows you're at Meta and hence you're very well paid. I jumped from Meta to G myself, and the fact that I worked at Meta was my negotiating point. Didn't need any competing offers. I'm very well paid (420k) as an L5 in a business related role (not swe). I say jump. At the very least, you'll likely get to enjoy better WLB
Come to X
X marks the spot
At least we say our full company name and not the stupid G
Nooooo.

Come to Snap
Only if you promise not to drop 20% every earnings
If only Snap recruiters weren't so incompetent, I'd already be working there
