I will be joining meta and in the onboarding procedure, I have to link my personal Facebook account for work. They mention that "it is against Facebooks community standards to have multiple personal accounts". However, I don't feel comfortable connecting my personal life to my work life via these accounts. Has anyone connected a second Facebook account for work and it was fine? What are the pros and cons? #fb #meta
I created a burner account for work.
Is there any way to change the account linked to our official account now? I linked my personal account but it's used in testing now and would like to unlink it
meta will ask you to dogfood everything. It doesn’t matter if you’d use a burner account or your current personal account. I’d recommend to not link your personal account as you might be opted in for things that you don’t know about and when you leave the company, your personal account could be in a broken state if you’re actively using meta products.
I connected my personal but I haven’t started yet so idk what the consequences will be. I figure it’s not like it’s an explicit page or anything, it’s nothing that I don’t consider public anyway
