Should I negotiate Spotify offer in London?

I applied for Spotify around a month ago, I’m currently in the last interview stage for 3rd round. On the first call they asked for my salary expectations I told them £65k with 6k bonus was my current so would look for something around that. I’m interviewing for engineer 1/engineer 2 (they will decide later what I fit into). The recruiter told me that my salary expectations can be met, should I try to go higher? I have 5 years experience and at a senior level in my current company. I would be looking for something around £80/90k given January is coming soon and I’ll likely get a pay rise at company.

You just gave them a low number then are trying to change it. No promises on how well that will go. Don't give a number.

Give them a number but a high one. Definitely negotiate. But you need to know what that high range is.

How was the interview process?

Your best bet is to get competing offers. But barring that take a look at levels.fyi and see what the pay range is for Eng II at Spotify. You should not name a number up front, and if you feel you must in your job market go high. You can still say that you realized that you didn't know your market value when you gave that number. Or you can just wait a few days after the offer and when they contact you say X more would make you ready to commit.

For Eng 1 you should ask for £75k at the minimum. Eng 2 £85-95. This is what I’ve heard.

If this is true I'm so underpaid

Hi Spotify! What would you say the range is for Manager? I guess it'd be similar to Senior Engg. £100-130k DOE?
