Current total comp at Accenture Federal: $100K base salary, 4-6% annual bonus eligible Projected total comp at startup/boutique firm: $140K base salary, 30% annual bonus eligible, 5% of sales, and some profit shares.
Leave the contracting world and don't look back. Best choice I ever made.
Is contracting is bad ?
Very
Is this a serious question? What’s your hesitation? Worries about being in a boutique firm?
Is contracting is not good I am thinking of joining epam from product company
If your going to go that route I highly suggest either MBB or Big4. At least those companies are known and have name recognition. They pay better and will have more project opportunities. EPAM will disagree but I know some folks who went there from Deloitte and wish they hadn’t
Hard to decipher if you are running to the new offer or running away from your current role so impossible to understand without context as a recruiter
YOE?
What is the role?
Is your goal to chase a higher TC? If so then you know what to do.
Get TF out of Accenture the first chance you get. Still look for other jobs though. If you can get $140K you may be able to pull $160K-$180K depending upon expertise/domain.
😂 You still there? I did a few years there myself. I didn't maximize my exit opportunity though, was young and dumb.
What’s wrong with AFS?
What do you do now for ACN Federal? And what will the new role be? I'll tell you now it will be a long time before you get to 140k at ACN so I'd take it.
Can I come with?
