Should I take the offer
I got an offer from IBM for 34 lpa, bonus excluded(not sure how much bonus they offer) + 3 L joining bonus. I'm currently in Cisco having a 29L fixed+ 2L bonus + ~ 5L RSU / Year. Should I leave Cisco and join IBM? Or just show this offer to Cisco for a raise(got minimal appraisal 3 months back)

Your current TC is ₹36L. Why will you accept an offer which is just ₹3L additional. You might get that if you wait for an appraisal at Cisco. Establishing yourself at a new organization is time consuming and effort taking. You should ask for atleast 40-50% raise. That's the minimum. At your experience I would say ₹50-60L is good number.

Don’t take the offer unless you’ve problems in the current organisation and desperate for a switch. With your current compensation, you need to get to a minimum of 45L as base (exclude bonus and RSUs). What is the opportunity cost of moving to another company where you need to prove yourself to all the people, learn new products, and deliver value. Think of the opportunity cost vs what you’ll gain. As mentioned unless you are desperate for a switch, without substantial increase in the base compensation don’t take the move.

Isn’t ibm India a body shop? I heard it’s a consultancy. However ibm-isl is good perhaps. My data is decades ago 🙂

It feels like anger towards your manager is letting you even consider this offer. Please stick to Cisco. If you are really motivated then prepare well and go for a better offer.
