Are you currently out of job due to a layoff within last 1 yr? Tc 110k
I got impacted too a while ago, I found a new remote job at a small company contracted by the DoD for basically the same TC. old tc: ~104k tc new tc: 105k base, no bonuses. it was pretty difficult took me 3 months to find a job (was employed for 2 of those months bc of WARN act, and had about 3-3.5 months severance on top so I actually came out with a little more money). I had over 10 interviews but the only offer I got was through direct referral so idk. Feels hard out there, but it's def possible... I'm glad I built whatever connections I did in my early career worked this time. Today specifically just tired bc was up late and had early morning meetings but I think my new resolve is to try to put more effort in my job, not because it gives me security - but to make me feel more accomplished and capable to find the next place. Also getting off reddit and blind (not perfect as I'm here today after seeing Google/Tesla layoffs on my phone) - has helped a lot mentally with my idea of work forsure. We gonna make it somehow probably, but I think a mindset and proper savings is important in these harder times.
