once synonymous with video calling no one I know uses it for anything.. wtf happened?

Skype is still big internationally and I still use it. Also use FaceTime Hangouts Zoom and even HipChat when it works.

Based on the leaks Skype for Teams is coming out soon to compete with Slack
enterprise usecases aside this is more about consumer products!

it is still synonymous with video calling in most countries including first world countries like UK canada EU in general among others. OP is lame
What do they use instead?
hangouts, messenger, FaceTime (this seems to be the gold standard), duo ( heard whatsapp is releasing video chat as well)
