I am starting to think Chinese interviewers currently fail non-Chinese candidates on purpose.
This!
No no Slack is good
How do they know if you travelled to those countries? Government gave that data?
I guess if you connect to Slack from an IP in those countries?
Can use proxies while in different countries. What if it is a part of your job to travel, and your company primarily uses slack. Should large internation companies decide against using Slack for this risk of getting shut out. Doesn't seem thought out. Someone may legally migrate to the US from Iran, and still have family there. Cuba is named, which has a large population originating from Cuba that live in South Florida in regular communication with family members or who travel back and forth.
I once visited the glorious Democratic People's Republic of Korea; there was no internet access at all, let alone any chance to use Slack to disseminate secrets. Go ahead and ban me for that long-ago visit; what nonsense.
Slack it slack. Don’t be a schmuck.
