I have a snap phone screen coming up for an Android Dev position. Would appreiciate some guidance on the interview format , level/type of android questions to expect for the phone screen Also, for the coding questions, is it generally LC Medium or LC Hard? #interview #phoneinterviewquestions TC 165k
Mine was a simple linked list two pointer problem. Onsite got harder. Put your best foot forward and you will succeed.
Any idea on how platform specific phone screens are done ? Recruiter mentioned that there we will Android specific questions , want to understand the scope of it to prepare better
During either phone screen or onsite, be prepared to be asked about a recent impactful project that you worked on, and be able to describe what you did. You will likely be asked to design and pseudo code or real code up something a Androidy. There is no way to know what kind of thing you'll be asked. So just remember to ask clarifying questions. Many candidates will try to do something way more general than the interviewer is asking, so ask questions to narrow it down. Ask what they are trying to accomplish, etc.
Was asked something similar to “one edit distance” yesterday. Also, beware gotcha questions, interviewer asked me when non-existent onRecycle() is called by RecyclerView. not a great look.
Is this a phone screen or an on-site ?
