Snap Inc comp averaging pretty high

so I’m looking at Levels and Snap is giving an Android dev 400k annual TC, even Netflix doesnt value that skillset very highly Snap market cap is as “low” as Square’s, and has impressed Wall St for a few quarters so they are still able to convince advertisers to use their app, so I dont need to make too many opinions about their actual silly app product to see the FU money possible here about to be FAANGSS? thoughts on what I am perceiving?

That’s true but their numbers have been impressive. I think Snap is still cool with teens and early 20’s.

Their pay is high because of very high churn

Anything I should be worried about culture wise? I dont really mind their advertiser ponzi scheme

Square 0x63721 Dec 28, 2019

High churn was because IPO craze. The culture has been on the up and up this past year. Every company has an IPO push craze. Squares was god awful. They did a bunch of waterfall features that were nicknamed death marches because devs had to sleep in the office. A year or two post IPO is when things get a lot better.

Why is Churn high at Snap? I have been hearing about their crazy salaries in my network and if there is high churn there might be great opportunities to grow. Am I missing something?

Snapchat snappity Dec 29, 2019

Churn has been lower than I’ve seen at other places.

There was a year (2018) where stock went down the whole year to as low as $5. There was a lot of churn then. Since the stock recovered it's been pretty low
