Hey Snap folks, im currently expecting a snap new grad offer, did interview 2 weeks back. I have an expiring Akuna Capital Offer 250 TC. I'd prefer to stick with tech companies to avoid hedge fund burnout from long hours, any idea what the numbers could look like?
Is the akuna offer including signon? So just first year tc, or recurring?
250 fy and 200 recurring
Take the 250k. It's rare and super high TC for grad.
Not rare, Salesforce pays
No, salesforce does not pay new grads this.
Do research to find out if WLB at Akuna is as bad as you think it is before assuming. Many times it just comes down to the team you're placed on
Will do. Thanks for the advice
If don’t mind me asking, how did you go about getting an interview set up? Was thinking about emailing a recruiter.
Knew some people from my school who worked there
Awesome, thanks! I did not even know they already started new grad hiring.
Can I dm you about the interview?
New grad offers are at 250 k these days? What on earth :o
Homie have u not seen hedge fund offers b4?
Is snap interview leetcode tags?
Akuna is kinda ass for developers. Not a lot of mobility. If you’re not a trader or quant I would def take snap. At snap you’d be a first class citizen and akuna a third class citizen/trader’s b***h
Any updates? I am also in the same situation wondering what the offer is. I have 126/ 220/ 50 offers from Google rn.
I also got an offer for l4, my recruiter told me after HM calls she will tell me the numbers.

I am starting to think Chinese interviewers currently fail non-Chinese candidates on purpose.
Most likely an L3 offer. 115k-155k base, 10%bonus (not guaranteed), 53k RSU, 20k sign on (not guaranteed) You probably get on the low end of that range too. Your current offer from Akuna is really good. I don't think any other company will compete with those number for a new grad
Is negotiation possible?
Not beyond the numbers I mentioned above, unless you get an L4 offer which I highly doubt unless you are a PHD or something
