I got an offer from Snap. Is the following a reasonable package to ask for? 140k base 50k sign on 450k equity distributed at 10/20/30/40 percent

😂
how many years of exp?
Good time to join! The stock is low now.
The stock will get lower
Don't be jealous
Shitty vesting schedule.
I know right. That alone might be the deal breaker
What level? Eng2?
Yeah, that's L2 base. Base salary doesn't vary within a level at Snap.
Interested in this as I'm also negotiating comp with Snap. Don't have numbers yet but they say they're looking to offer me a senior position
Don't mean to hijack this thread, but snap got back to me with an offer for lvl3 (senior): Base 160k Sign on 15k RSUs: 500k Based on OP's #s for l2 (no offense) I think there's still room to negotiate, but not sure what to push for. Any thoughts would be appreciated.
Push for a bigger sign on, and see if you can make headway on RSUs. I would push hard on valuation numbers and what that means with the current share price fluctuation, ect (not sure how this will work, it's a new problem...) It's actually best to push on the leveling @ Snap. How close were you to L4, ect.
Vesting schedule kills it
OP, are you local to the snap office they're trying to hire you for?
Snap doesn't negotiate salary equity or levels. They will incentivize you to sign early with additional bonus. Go for that
And the role of level would be?
