I am in the team matching phase with Snap and have the choice of two teams to join. Both are mobile teams (I am an Android dev): App Platform Core Growth Has anyone at #snap heard about either of these teams? Anyone know what the wlb or culture is like on them? I was able to ask the managers a few questions related to this but I'd love to hear a third party opinion.
App platform works on high impact stuff, smart folks. If u wanna do well, make impact quick, probably means u gotta work hard and maybe longer hours.
Good to know. Isn't core growth high impact as well though? They are responsible for increasing DAU it seems
You should ask them directly. I could be wrong, but that team doesn't have expertise, since they don't own anything. If u like building notification features, chill wlb, u should go to that team.
DM me. Happy to tell you about both teams, pros and cons, dirty laundry and opportunities.
Lol this sounds too good to be true but I'll do it

Who are these retards asking for dictatorship in India?
I would recommend joining app platform.
Great to hear, any reason why? Manager seemed very smart which is a plus, but also claimed the team likes to work late nights. I'm not against hard work, but i don't know if I want to work from morning to night consistently
I think the stuff they work on on average is more interesting and more long term, especially for Android engineer. And just as observation the team seems stronger eng wise.
