Both for the same level and same TC. Snap team is infra and Netflix is product. Which one to choose? Some pros and cons I can think of: Snap: +: job security +: low stock price right now +: office in Seattle -: company future prospect -: potential future RTO Netflix: +: prestige +: fully remote +: company future prospect -: lack of job security. Low performers get cut -: no office in Seattle -: less perks Both hiring managers seem eager to promote. Which company looks better on resume? How would you choose? #tech #offer
Seems like you already worked at twitter ( social media ). I would suggest Netflix. Also choose based on projects and impact. Rather some generic points.
Snap is rto
How do you have job security as a pro of snap but then list company prospects as a con??
TC for each company?
Theyâre the same
Whatâs the # and level?
Netflix. Want to work there so bad
Did you cold apply to Netflix or did you get a referral? Was interested in a few PM roles there but never had any luck hearing back.
Join Netflix then refer me plz
I donât think Netflix is more prestigious than snap imo
FWIW I heard Snap does quarterly stack ranking, lowest 10% automatically PIP.
Netflix is full cash. Take it. Netflix however is known for firing if performance isnt met
Snap also has 5-10% PIP/Fire culture and that too every quarter. Penny stock companies like Robinhood, Pinterest and Snap are going hard on PIP Quotas to avoid severance payouts.
Ok sure Uber
